Now that we are into February, I am sure that many of you have already forgotten your 2013 New Year’s Resolutions. Admit it – I have! So, how do you make resolutions that work for YOU and allow you to make the freshness of a new year last all year long?

Here are three tips:

1 – Make your resolutions simple and easily doable. Yes, there’s an app for it! Here are several worth checking out:

2 – Re-make your resolutions. Yes (after January) and allow them to be flexible! You are human and you will slip, make mistakes and so, just start over.

3 – Write them down – somewhere so that you can review them. This can be on paper or online, but somewhere you are likely to look. Put it in your calendar a few months down the road and this will serve as a reminder to follow up with your progress.

Regardless of how you want to handle your resolutions, if you like making them or like making goals, take advantage of the free apps above to monitor them. It takes just a little time to download and try them out, but can save you a great deal of time down the road if one works for you. After all, what’s the point in making resolutions at the beginning of the year if you don’t really try to keep them?
