Now that most everyone has a mobile phone and we are more mobile, it is imperative that you take precautions. One simple thing you can do is to record your “ICE” number. In this case, ICE stands for In Case of Emergency. Record the number of your emergency contact like this: ICE – John Roberts. This way, if you are in an accident, emergency personnel can quickly find who to contact on your behalf. Most EMTs know to look for the “ICE” contact in your phone.
Keep all the important numbers in your phone to reduce your stress, too. Here are some suggestions: physician, insurance provider, home and auto insurance agent, credit card contacts, locksmith, towing company, trusted friends as well as family.
